Becky Lynch Plays Magic: The Gathering With Cobra Kai’s Xolo Mariduena

Becky Lynch remains absent from WWE, but she recently made a public appearance.

Lynch announced that she would face Cobra Kai star Xolo Maridueña in her first game of Magic: The Gathering on December 11.

In a post on Instagram, Becky Lynch promoted the appearance by saying that she was always ready for a new challenger, no matter the competition.

Lynch has been absent from WWE programming since she lost to Liv Morgan on the May 27 episode of WWE RAW. She was in attendance for WWE’s Netflix media event on December 3. Lynch is widely expected to return to WWE programming alongside WWE RAW moving to Netflix in January.

Liv Morgan On Becky Lynch

WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan recently spoke highly of Lynch. In an interview with Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes, Morgan said that Lynch was a Hall of Famer already.

“I think if Becky never comes back, I definitely think she is 100% a Hall of Famer. She has become a martyr for women’s wrestling and performance all around, she can do it all. She can deliver in the ring, she can deliver on the microphone. The crowd is compelled by her when she’s out there, not to mention what she stands for in women’s wrestling.

“Her goal, I think, was to really evolve it and maximize women’s wrestling and really make women’s wrestling feel just as special and important as the men’s wrestling, and she did it all while being a fantastic brand-new mummy. But with all that, she’s still not as great as me. (laughs),” Liv Morgan said.
