The New Day are still reeling from the reaction they received from the WWE Universe earlier this week on Monday Night RAW.
After turning their backs on their long-time friend Big E last week on RAW, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods attempted to explain their actions on Monday night only to be drowned out by a very vocal WWE Universe.
Kofi Kingston took to social media this morning to reflect on what happened this week on RAW and believes if the WWE Universe would just hear them out, they’d change their minds. Tweeting out:
“I’m still so incredibly disappointed in the people of Wichita, Kansas for not letting us speak. I’m also disappointed in the WWE Universe for your lack of sympathy on social media platforms. I really think that if you’d just hear us out, you’d change your minds,” Kofi Kingston said in a post.
Xavier Woods later chimed in burying the immaturity of Wichita. The New Day member is hopeful for a more mature audience in Boston next week, tweeting out:
“Wichita really showed their immaturity. Communication is the only way to move forward, but they let their emotions get in the way. This Monday in Boston I’m sure they will be far more mature,” Xavier Woods said in a post.
