The first match for the Christmas Eve edition of WWE NXT has been announced.
On the December 10 episode of WWE NXT, Lexis King told Charlie Dempsey that he wanted another shot at the NXT Heritage Cup. Later in the show, King was shown talking to Ryan Leaf. Dempsey then spoke with King and agreed to give him another Heritage Cup match.
Dempsey previously beat King to retain the NXT Heritage Cup on the October 29 episode of NXT. Dempsey’s father, William Regal, was King’s cornerman for the match.
Dempsey is currently in his second reign as NXT Heritage Cup Champion. He won the Heritage Cup for the second time on the August 13 episode of NXT by defeating Tony D’Angelo.
