Mariah May On Mercedes Moné: She Says He’s Here To Help, So Come Into Our Locker Room And Teach Us

Mariah May isn’t mixing words when it comes to her feelings for Mercedes Moné.

All Elite Wrestling Women’s World Champion Mariah May recently sat down with Renee Paquette for AEW Close-Up. When asked how it feels to have someone the magnitude of Mercedes Moné join the company, May said she doesn’t care because all she does is stay in her private locker room instead of helping the rest of the division.

“I don’t care,” Mariah May said. “Honestly, half the time I don’t know she stepped in here, because I don’t know if you know this, but she has her own locker room, so she says she’s here to help, and she cares so much. So come into our locker room, come into our tiny, little locker room, and help us. Teach us.

“Share your knowledge from all these years of experience you’ve apparently had. But no, she’s sitting in her locker room and she’s writing her little Moné Mag, her little magazine. I mean, how many people are reading that magazine? Who actually cares about your magazine? Because I care about women’s wrestling and I care about being on the showing getting more than 10 minutes. So if you care, come and step in the ring with me.”

When asked if she felt slighted by Mercedes getting more TV time when she’s not the AEW Women’s World Champion, May said she does because she thinks she’s better than her.

“Yeah, I do, because I think I’m better,” Mariah May said bluntly.
