One of the most historical moments in the career of the Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns was when he defeated WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33. It was one of the longest matches of both their career. The match as a whole had received a lot of positive and negative responses. The Undertaker recently shared his regret in participating in that match.
During the latest episode of the Six Feet Under Podcast, The Undertaker shared that the match he had against Roman Reigns still bothers him. The Deadman is not upset about the fact that he lost the match. For him, the upsetting factor was that his body had taken a toll and it was finally giving up on him. Thus he could not perform to the level that he wanted to. The Phenom is upset mainly because he could not give Reigns a good match.
“Yeah that was… The mess still bothers me. Not that I lost. I stayed a little long for I didn’t have enough for him that I would have liked to have give him. My body was just… At that point, my body was just shutting down. Yeah. I wasn’t… I shouldn’t have been in that match. But, anyway…,” The Undertaker said.
The Deadman also shared his regrets about facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30. He didn’t regret not remembering the match, but wishes he could figure out when he got concussed.
During the podcast, The Undertaker, Matt Lyda and Stephen Amell also discussed their wrestling fandom and the advent of “scrambled channels” on cable. The group recalled using it to watch wrestling PPVs they didn’t purchase, while Undertaker playfully admitted to using it to watch adult content too.
