Bryan Danielson doesn’t understand the world, but he knows that AEW‘s new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery is a big step.
Speaking with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture following AEW All In Texas: Countdown to On Sale, Bryan Danielson was asked to comment on AEW’s new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery.
“I think it’s great,” he said. “You have to keep in mind, I don’t understand the world. I just don’t understand how people do things. It’s like, okay, I watch on with a curiosity, like, ‘Oh, that’s an interesting choice for humans to make.’ One of the things that I find, this is something that I very clearly kind of understand, as being, ‘Oh, this is awesome,’ because a lot of my friends don’t have cable anymore.
“The number of people who don’t have cable and do these other platforms, and Max is a huge streaming platform, I think it’s a real chance to get more people to watch AEW. So yeah, in I’m super excited.”
Bryan Danielson On AEW Going To Max
Danielson continued by saying that he thought it was cool when the deal got announced. He explained how more people could watch AEW now that it would simulcast on Max.
“Warner Brothers has been obviously an incredible partner for us. When that deal was announced, that it was going to be simulcast on Max, I was like, oh wow, that’s really cool because so many people I know don’t have cable. So people who wanted to watch AEW but didn’t have cable before can now watch it on Max.”
