Eric Bischoff Comments On Potentially Making More WWE Appearances

Eric Bischoff appeared on the December 3 episode of WWE NXT, and he appeared at MLW One-Shot as well. The WWE Hall of Famer has now commented on what’s next.

Following MLW One-Shot, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that MLW was planning on using Bischoff again in the future.

Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff was asked about the report and his future with MLW.

“Well, I don’t want to spill too much too soon, it’s not my promotion,” Bischoff said. “But I will say that Atlanta’s kind a cool place to be in early February, and rumor has it there’s going to be an MLW show in Atlanta, so you know, don’t be surprised.”

Eric Bischoff On Making More Appearances

Bischoff went on to note that he did not know how much longer he would be making live appearances at shows. He highlighted how difficult traveling was for him.

“I don’t know how much longer I’m going to be doing these live wrestling shows,” he said. “It takes a lot because of where I live to get me there and back. If this is going to be my last live wrestling, it’s kind of cool that I’m gonna do it at Center Stage. It’s kind of full circle, so we’ll see. I haven’t made up my mind for sure yet. But if indeed it will be my last live appearance, then I’m glad I’m doing it at Center Stage.”

Eric Bischoff On Potential WWE Return

Bischoff was also asked whether he would do more one-off appearances with WWE, potentially in conjunction with WWE ID.

“Definitely. WWE does it right, and if that opportunity were to be presented to me, I’d have to give it serious consideration. Honestly, I don’t want to make it sound like I’m too good for anything because that’s not the case at all. For me, it’s just very personal in terms of travel. I say it all the time and I don’t think people really believe me or understand how committed I am to this, but it’s just so hard for me to travel anymore that that’s my biggest issue is the travel part.

“So I guess it depends on where, when, and how often, that type of thing. But I’m never gonna turn down an opportunity to do anything with WWE. They’re a class organization, they treat you right, I almost always have a great time. So always keep an open mind, for sure.”

Bischoff also expressed his interest in potentially being involved with WWE ID in some capacity.
