The Pittsburgh Steelers borrowed from Roman Reigns to celebrate their win over the Cleveland Browns.
On December 8, the Steelers scored a dominant win against the Cleveland Browns by a final score of 27-14.
In a tweet, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Twitter account wrote, “Acknowledge us.” In the post, they included a picture of Roman Reigns stopping CM Punk from entering the WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series. The Steelers’ logo is edited onto Reigns, while the Browns’ logo is placed on Punk.
The Browns previously beat the Steelers 24-19 on November 21.
The Steelers’ meme highlighted a viral moment from WWE Survivor Series. CM Punk went to enter the WarGames match, and Reigns put his arm out to stop him. Reigns and Punk struggled to coexist ahead of the match, but they put their differences aside so their team could beat Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline. Punk then returned to WWE RAW on December 2.
Roman Reigns On Being A Heel Or Babyface
Reigns recently spoke on SI Media With Jimmy Traina. In one highlight, he was asked whether he preferred being a babyface or heel. Reigns explained that he did not look at it that way.
“I don’t look at it like that. I respect the template that we come from for the art form’s sake. You know, when you start drawing, you need colors, right? You’ve got to define a few things. We started with black and white—good versus evil—and that gives you your starting point.”
“But once you’ve seen a few generations of different types of storytelling and a very similar story told over and over, the audience changes. They’re exposed to different things, and all of that evolves.”
“To me, I think it’s important to keep the continuity and be the character. It took me 39 years to GPS this skin that I wear when I go out there as a performer—as the Tribal Chief. That’s why it’s important to stick to those guns and not try to be something I’m not. That’s the most authentic thing to do from my standpoint.” Roman Reigns said.
