GCW World Champion Mance Warner discusses the controversy surrounding EFFY and AEW.
Ricky Starks was pulled from his scheduled appearances for GCW, reportedly due to comments EFFY made about Tony Khan. EFFY later responded and said that the situation was “laughable”.
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, GCW World Champion Mance Warner was asked to comment on the situation.
“Like I said earlier, man. EFFY is feuding with every single person and himself. I am here to do business. I show up, and I worry about myself, my title, and my money, I don’t give a damn what’s happening anywhere else. As long as I’m getting paid, that’s all that matters. I’m here to beat people and get paid. EFFY once again just showed that he’s lost his mind. Not like me. I’m the man. He’s lost his mind because he gets wrapped up in everybody else’s business instead of what he should be worrying about.
“I look at this as simple as this, I’m in the main event, I’m the champ. He’s worried about everything else other than trying to get my title. That should be the focus, right? If you’re getting paid money in a business to beat the hell out of somebody, I don’t give a damn about anything else. I think it shows because I’ve main-evented every GCW show, I’ve defended this title all over the world, and I’m the man. Everyone else is trying to start their own feuds on the internet, bullsh*t, bitch and moan, whine and complain.”
Mance Warner later reiterated that EFFY was worried about arguing with Tony Khan and AEW fans, whereas he was focused on the title. He also said that he did not care about Starks getting pulled from the shows, as he only worried about himself and his title.
Mance Warner: I Only Worry About My Title
Warner went on to emphasize that he was the best, and all he cared about was keeping his title.
“I know I’m the best. I’m the best on the mic,” Mance Warner said. “I’m the best at fighting, I’m the best at going out there, bleeding, beating the hell out of people. So I’m gonna start saying what I know and what the people know, I’m the f*cking man. I ain’t worried about anything else other than keeping this title.”

GCW and AEW seemingly worked together to have Matt Cardona appear on ROH on HonorClub and AEW Rampage this past week, as he was revealed as Chris Jericho’s challenger at ROH Final Battle.
