WWE is hitting the road for 2025’s first edition of WWE NXT.
As previously announced, the December 17 taping of NXT will be held at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts.
During NXT Deadline, general manager Ava announced that the first episode of NXT in 2025 would be the New Year’s Evil special, and it would be held live in Los Angeles, California. The specific venue was not named.
Two title matches are set for NXT New Year’s Evil. At NXT Deadline, Giulia and Oba Femi won Iron Survivor Challenge matches to earn title shots. Giulia will challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT New Year’s Evil. Femi will challenge Trick Williams for the NXT Championship.
