Winner: Oba Femi
Grade: B+
Femi returning was a fun surprise, and his ascension to the main event picture is overdue. Evans had a great showing, and he should be poised for big things in 2025. Lee remains one of NXT’s most reliable veterans. He could use a strong story to follow his feud with Zachary Wentz; this rivalry with Evans could be that. Page’s future seems unclear based on his backstage promo later in the show; he could be one of many NXT stars sent to the main roster as part of the transfer window.
In a vignette, Lexis King comments on not qualifying for the Iron Survivor Challenge. He says the city has a special place in his heart, as it was the place where he was left on the street. King says he’s trying to prove that he’s different, and he’s going to exceed everything “he” ever did. He says it’s worth it to struggle and feel that cold, as nothing feels better than the warm air of satisfaction.

Vice emotionally celebrates after the bell.
Grade: B
This was good for what it was. It defied the norm regarding the NXT Underground stipulation, as weapons were used throughout the match. That somewhat weakens how special the match is, as weapons make it a hardcore match without ropes. Vice remaining undefeated makes sense, given her MMA background.

Grade: B+
Borne and Heights had a great showing here. They haven’t had many opportunities like this, and they capitalized. Hopefully this leads to more of a sustained push for them, as they were both impressive. Frazer and Axiom are great together, but this looming break-up has been drawn out for a long time. Their days should be numbered, as this is getting a little redundant.

Winner and still NXT Champion: Trick Williams
Grade: B
This was fine, but you’d want more from the main title match. There wasn’t much drama, beyond Williams’ injury going into the match, and the outcome was never in doubt. Holland held his own with Williams, who has cemented himself as NXT’s franchise player. Williams is one of multiple NXT stars who could use a heated feud to gain momentum, but he could also be a top candidate to move to the main roster in the transfer window.
Ethan Page is asked about his loss backstage. He looks back on his time in NXT up to this point. Page says it took him 18 years to get here, and he has no clue how to get “back there”. He walks away after saying he “can’t do this.”

Winner: Giulia
Giulia celebrates after the match.
Grade: A
The Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge got the main event spot for a reason, as the women’s division has indeed been on fire. All five competitors had a great showing. Sinclair may have benefitted more than anyone, as this was the biggest opportunity that she has had so far. This should help elevate her status in the crowded women’s division. Giulia earning a rematch is an interesting choice, as she has already challenged Perez. A fresh matchup of Perez vs. Vaquer may have been a more exciting draw, but it could also signal that Giulia will get the win this time.
Grade: B+
The Iron Survivor challenges delivered, Oba Femi’s return was a fun boost, and the Tag Team Championship match exceeded expectations. Plus, the NXT Underground match lived up to the hype. Williams vs. Holland fell short, but it did what it needed to do. It’ll be interesting to see what the roster looks like a month from now with the transfer window opening.
