Unagi Sayaka Makes Her Surprise Return To STARDOM

Joshi freelancer Unagi Sayaka made her first appearance in STARDOM for the first time since Dream Queendom 2022.

STARDOM recently held a show in Hamamatsu to determine the semi-finalists in their ongoing Goddess of Stardom Tag League. The first match saw Tam Nakano and Sayaka Kurara defeat Yuna Mizumori and Aya Sakura in a battle between Cosmic Angels members. As the four women celebrated in the ring after their competitive matchup, Unagi Sayaka emerged from the entrance ramp. This marked her first appearance in a STARDOM ring in nearly two full years.

As the leader of the Cosmic Angels, Tam Nakano welcomed her back to the promotion. The two former allies shared an embrace, but Unagi Sayaka slapped Tam immediately afterward. She then accused the Cosmic Angels faction of being bland and uninteresting ever since she left. Tam responded, saying “I thought you’d finally come back, so why would you say such a cruel thing? You may have done whatever you wanted, but I was desperately trying to protect Kozuen! Have you finally run out of ideas?”

Unagi Sayaka proceeded to call the entirety of STARDOM as a promotion boring, and that she would bring flavor into the company at the start of 2025. She then challenged Tam Nakano to a match at STARDOM’s January 3 show to kick off the year.

As of the time of writing, there is no known information on Unagi Sayaka’s affiliation with STARDOM as an exclusive talent. She has been competing all across the globe for the past two years as a freelancer, and she has also hosted her own produce shows.
