Logan Paul discussed some advice that he recently got from 16-time world champion John Cena.
Speaking on his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan Paul shared some advice that he got from John Cena.
“John Cena told me as well, randomly, I shot him a text about something, he told me this. ‘Comparison is the thief of joy.’ But I’ve never really understood it, and I still don’t think I fully understand it, but it makes sense to me.
“I’m realizing something about myself, and that’s, I do compare myself to people in the sense that I’m competitive and I use it as fuel to motivate me to do better. Which has always worked for me, but I’m also wondering if it is the thief of joy. While I am reaching these pinnacles, am I happy doing it? Am I doing it because I found that motivation inside me, or did it come from an external source? Also, does it matter? I don’t know.”
Logan Paul On WWE/Netflix Shoot
During the podcast, Paul also revealed that he attended the WWE/Netflix media shoot this week, and he felt at home in his gear.
“That is a great f*cking note. That is such a good note, and that’s hard for a lot of people to figure out what they’re really good at,” Paul said. “But it’s so important. Even you saying it right now, yeah, that’s what I’m doing. I’m not getting to do the stuff I’m good at. When I put my foot in a wrestling ring, I’m like, ‘Ah. Motherf**ker, I’m good.’
“We were shooting that thing yesterday, this was goofy, but I put on that outfit, and I was like, ‘Oh, yeah.’ My wrestling outfit. We were doing the shoot. I put on my WWE outfit, and I haven’t put it on in a couple months, and I felt good. I felt at home.”
Paul has been absent from WWE programming since WWE SummerSlam, and there is currently no word on when he will return.
