Kevin Owens teases coming after Sami Zayn once he’s done with Cody Rhodes.
During an interview on the December 6 episode of WWE SmackDown, Kevin Owens commented on his issues with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Speaking with Michael Cole, Owens recalled the road up to this point. He noted that it had been all about Rhodes since he returned. Cole brought up Jey Uso and Sami Zayn as examples of people who had teamed with Reigns. Owens responded that he would “cross that bridge” regarding Zayn when he got to it.
Owens then said that he was focused on Rhodes. He stated that Rodes was his friend, and he stabbed him in the back by teaming up with Roman Reigns. Cole said that everything that was happening was on Owens, as he was the problem. Owens told Cole to leave, bringing the interview to an abrupt end.
Owens and Zayn are longtime friends, and they had a memorable feud with The Bloodline. The duo beat The Usos to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship at WWE WrestleMania 39. Zayn later reunited with The OG Bloodline and fought alongside them in the Men’s WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series.
