Cody Rhodes Appears In Video Promoting Big 12 Title Game

Cody Rhodes hypes up the Big 12 Championship game.

The Big 12 shared a video in which Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes hyped up the conference championship game between Iowa State and Arizona State. Rhodes noted that championship season was here, and the Big 12 Championship had never been bigger. He looked at his title and noted that he had his, and it was “time to get yours.”

Iowa State will play Arizona State in the Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship game on December 7.

WWE has collaborated with NCAA in the past, as they partnered to produce replica championship belts for multiple schools. In 2023, The Undertaker presented Quinn Ewers the Big 12 MVP belt at the Big 12 Championship game, and other WWE stars were in attendance.

Cody Rhodes On WWE’s Success

Rhodes has been making the rounds lately, as he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In one highlight, he shared his thoughts on WWE’s current success.

“We’re in this period of time where — there was the Attitude Era, there was the Ruthless Aggression Era. And now, we don’t even know what to call this era of WWE,” said Rhodes. “I feel like we should call it the Record Era, because we’re just breaking records left and right.

“The new management team — Triple H, Nick Khan, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson — they’ve made it so easy for me,” Rhodes said. “I’ve been dubbed the quarterback because they just call the plays, I run the play, and everyone, hopefully, we all look good. So it’s a blessed time. Thank all of you [fans] so much.”
