Sonya Deville wanted the opportunity to be the first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
The tournament brackets for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament were revealed earlier this week on WWE RAW and Sonya Deville was nowhere to be found.
The RAW Superstar took to social media to voice her displeasure in a video over not being included in the tournament while also taking a shot at tournament participant Dakota Kai, tweeting out:
“When that’s all I’ve been doing my entire career, actually my entire life, is fighting. Because I’m a fighter,” Sonya Deville said. “And I don’t just mean in the ring. I have literally overcome things, but I don’t sit here and brag about how much I deserve things.
“You have Dakota Kai in the tournament and now we’re applauding her so much because she’s come back from her fourth injury in four years. And that’s something to brag about now? That’s something that’s rewarded now? What are we doing!?”
Deville claims she would post the full video, but she doesn’t want to get in trouble. It’s unknown as of this writing if Deville intends to release the video in its entirety.
