AEW Files For Multiple New Trademarks

Has AEW revealed some potential new names for upcoming events in 2025?

On December 5, AEW filed for three trademarks with the USPTO for Maximum Carnage, Maximum Mayhem, and Maximum Combat.

If the first trademark sounds familiar to you, it might be because it’s the name of a popular video game and comic book run in 1994 by Marvel featuring Spider-Man, Venom, and of course… Carnage.

All three trademarks have the same filing description which you can see below:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services in the nature of a television series in the field of professional wrestling; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling.

It’s unknown if these trademarks are for future specials of Dynamite or Collision, or a new pay-per-view name. With Wrestle Dynasty coming on January 5, it might be in companies best interest to retire their Dynasty name later in the year to avoid any confusion between the two shows.
