Are we going to get another match from the legendary Trish Stratus in 2025?
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus recently spoke with Scott Fishman of TV Insider. When asked about the company introducing Intercontinental and United States Championships for the Women’s Division, Stratus said it’s exactly what they wanted back when she was a full-time performer.
“I think it’s amazing. This is exactly what we wanted back in the day,” Trish Stratus said. “We wanted the same opportunities and exposure as the men. Now this is a big step to have that level of competition. Having the titles means you’re going to have matches for those titles. There is room for multiple feuds over the titles and influx of characters. It creates opportunities for more characters on the show, who happen to be female.”
When asked if we could see her in a wrestling ring in 2025, Stratus teased it as a possibility being it’s her 25-year anniversary as a professional wrestler.
“Possibly. I imagine at some point,” Trish Stratus said. “I don’t know what I’ll be doing in a wrestling ring, but I can’t imagine I won’t be in a wrestling ring. It is my 25th anniversary after all. So, yeah.”
