Report: Bronson Reed Set To Have Surgery For Ankle Injury

A new report provides an update on Bronson Reed after he suffered an injury at WWE Survivor Series.

Reed competed in the Men’s WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series. He was part of Solo Sikoas team for their match against Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline. During the match, Reed dove off the top of the cage and went through a table. At the post-show press conference, Triple H noted that Reed’s availability would be questionable for the next few weeks.

Corey Brennan of Fightful (via Fightful Select) then reported that, per sources, Reed suffered an injury to one of, and possibly both, of his ankles on the landing.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the word making the rounds among talent was that Bronson Reed will have surgery next week for his injury. Further details are unclear at this time.

As previously reported, Reed’s injury somewhat accelerated the timeline for Drew McIntyre’s return, as he came back earlier than expected on the December 2 episode of WWE RAW.

Bronson Reed On His Injury

Reed briefly commented on his injury in a tweet on December 1. He said that injuries were temporary, but moments were forever.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
