Where in the world is WWE Superstar Hikuleo?
Back in July, it was reported that former New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Hikuleo, the younger brother of Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa had signed with WWE. Many believed that he would be quickly inserted into the ongoing storyline between the two Bloodline factions on SmackDown, but it never happened.
Months later in September, it was reported that Hikuleo was internally listed on the NXT roster and would be starting there instead of going directly to the main roster. Despite that, the Young Gun has yet to appear on NXT either. So what exactly is going on?
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Hikuleo isn’t injured and is currently training in NXT. The belief is he’ll debut at “some point.”
How long he lasts in NXT before being called up for the ongoing Bloodline storyline is another thing entirely.
