The “Final Boss” Meiko Satomura returns to the world championship scene as she competes for Sendai Girls‘ most prestigious title.
At Sendai Girls’ previous Korakuen Hall show, DASH Chisako successfully defeated Mika Iwata to become the new Sendai Girls World Champion. This marked her first run with the promotion’s top belt.
She proceeded to address the Korakuen Hall crowd on her championship win. She thanked them for their support and wasted no time calling out Meiko Satomura to the ring. The “Final Boss” then emerged from backstage to confront her face-to-face.
Satomura made her intentions clear that she is interested in challenging for the Sendai Girls World Championship before she retires next year. Sendai Girls later made the match official via a social media announcement. The match is set for their “Joshi Puroresu Big Show in Sendai” at Sendai Sun Plaza Hall on Sunday, December 8.
As of the time of writing, Meiko Satomura has five months before she officially retires at her retirement show on April 29, 2025. Prior to that show, she will compete overseas in Germany for wXw on January 18. She also has an upcoming appearance in England for PROGRESS Wrestling on February 23.
