The “Is Jade Cargill really injured?” saga continues.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion was written off TV just prior to Survivor Series. She was replaced in the War Games match by Bayley after being attacked in the parking lot on Raw.
However, reports of the truth of what happened vary. Some sources said that the injury was just part of an angle and the former TBS Champion’s injury was just part of the storyline.
Others were told that it was a legitimate injury. Claims ranged from a short-term knock to keeping her on the shelf for months. The truth is unclear, so Fightful has attempted to clear up what has happened to Jade Cargill.
Fightful Select has released the latest report about Jade Cargill’s health, trying to find the truth behind her injury woes.
They wrote that WWE sources told them Jade Cargill was legitimately injured, which varied from reports from multiple other outlets. In addition, they said that Jade Cargill was listed on the WWE internal list of injuries, but do not know the nature or any specifics about the injury.
“Jade Cargill’s status gains a little more clarity. Cargill was written off WWE TV recently with a mystery attacker angle. Fightful was immediately told by WWE sources they were informed that it was due to a legitimate injury. Since then, conflicting info has emerged from various outlets, ranging from her not being injured at all, or being out several months.” Fightful Select wrote about Jade Cargill.
“We don’t have information on a timetable regarding Jade Cargill’s return, but internally, she was listed on the injured list. Those that we’ve spoken to say that she claims that she’s injured, but we’ve not heard specifics on the actual injury.”
There is currently no timeframe for Jade Cargill’s WWE return.
