Former Ring of Honor World Champion Jay Lethal is planning to make a return to Ring of Honor.
Earlier this week, QT Marshall bumped into Jay Lethal. He then asked Lethal if he would like to return to ROH by competing in a match against the self-proclaimed God’s Greatest Gift to Professional Wrestling.
“Listen, I don’t know if you saw what I did last week. Talk of the wrestling world. Sold out the Prudential Center myself. See what I did with Big Boom AJ? You want a little spoiler? Jazz Wears called me. They are going to make a Doom action figure. But hey listen, the real reason I wanted to talk to you, there’s a lot of things I’ve done in wrestling. Right now, I’m on top of the wrestling world. I think it is time that Jay Lethal jumps on the QT Marshall train.
“So here’s what I propose. Mr. Ring of Honor, The Franchise, the greatest first-generation wrestler in Ring of Honor history against the man who used to be known as God’s gift to Professional Wrestling, Mr. Doom himself, QT Marshall. Just think about it. Think about all the attention, the buzz we will get. You saw, I was on Fallon, Sports Center, ESPN, everything. That could be you Jay,” QT Marshall said.
Jay Lethal replied by stating that he is planning to make a return by targetting a ‘bigger fish.’
“I did see that. And I am looking to return to Ring of Honor. That would be cool… You know, Sonjay and I were… Because of the return to Ring of Honor, I haven’t been there in a while, we kind of had our sights on a bigger fish if you know what I mean. Nothing against you, but, no thanks. So sorry man,” Jay Lethal said.
