The Patriarchy took out their frustrations on Hook tonight during AEW Dynamite, making Hook regret calling out the group.
During tonight’s episode of Dynamite, Hook came out to the ring to respond to Nick Wayne’s challenge for a match at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Hook said that he’d much rather fight Christian Cage, and that he would leave him in worse shape than whatever they did to Taz. He said he wanted a piece of the group, and just like that, they obliged.
Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian appeared behind Hook and ambushed him. Hook was able to get in some hits and looked ready to flip momentum, but Cage also appeared and added to the assault. The trio then set up a Con-Chair-To to Hook’s arm, which Wayne hit to leave Hook in a lot of pain.
