Pat McAfee will return to WWE RAW in the near future.
Per Jordan Mendoza of USA Today, Triple H commented on McAfee’s return at a media event for WWE RAW’s looming debut on Netflix. He stated that McAfee would be “back with us here full-time.” Triple H noted that he would be calling the action alongside Michael Cole.
Pat McAfee has been absent since August, as he returned to ESPN College GameDay. Joe Tessitore made his debut on the September 2 episode of WWE RAW, and he has been paired with Wade Barrett. Cole has been on WWE SmackDow alongside Corey Graves. There is currently no word on how McAfee’s return will impact the commentary lineups.
Triple H also hyped up the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere by noting that it had been circled on the calendar for months, and it was being “looked at like a WrestleMania.” CM Punk, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and other stars have been confirmed for the show.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
