Ricochet discusses his time in AEW so far.
Ricochet made his debut at AEW All In in August, and he started a new chapter of his career following his departure from WWE. He has been featured on AEW programming since he joined the company.
Speaking with Brandon F. Walker on Rasslin’, Ricochet was asked to grade his time in AEW so far.
“For me personally, it’s been great,” he said. “It’s been nothing but an A. I just had the match against Takeshita at Full Gear, and that didn’t go my way. Again, circumstances, people tend to cheat or bend the rules against Ricochet every single time. No one can just go out there and beat Ricochet.”
Ricochet: I’m So Happy
Ricochet was also asked whether he felt that joining AEW was the right decision, and he said that it was
“I personally think absolutely, I think I made the 100% correct choice, and it’s been amazing so far. Just being in the back with the boys and talking to Tony and being able to go out there and start to tell some stories and really get the people involved, I think it’s been awesome so far,” Ricochet said. “Like you said, it’s only been two months, maybe three.
“This is literally just the beginning, it’s just started, so there’s still so much more to happen, there’s still so much more story, so many more matches, so much more to do, and I came here because everybody wants to be the man, everybody wants to win the championship, and I had my chance and it didn’t happen yet, but that doesn’t mean it’s not gonna happen eventually. But I 100% am so happy with the decision I made.”
