John Cena‘s latest movie has been announced.
Per Rosy Cordero of Deadline, Netflix is in early development on Little Brother, a comedy starring John Cena and Eric Andre. Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel are screenwriting the project, while David Bernad and Ruben Fleischer are producing.
Cordero writes that the film “follows a famous real estate agent whose carefully curated world is upended when his eccentric ‘little brother; unexpectedly reappears.
Cena and Andre previously worked together on The Eric Andre Show. Cena appeared on the Season 5 episode “The ASAP Ferg Show.”
As previously announced, Cena has wrapped filming for the second season of Peacemaker, the spin-off series stemming from his role as Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad. The long-awaited second season will premiere on Max in 2025.
John Cena To Begin WWE Farewell Tour
In the wrestling world, Cena will begin his farewell tour in 2025. He has been confirmed for the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere on January 6. Cena has also been announced for WWE Royal Rumble and WWE Elimination Chamber. The retirement tour will span the year, and it will be around 36 dates.
