Jaida Parker says the women’s division is “commanding everything” in NXT.
For years the women in NXT have been on par or better than their male equivalent. It began with the work of the Four Horsewomen, whose incredible matches paved the way for future women and inspired the “women’s revolution” in 2015.
Since then, women like Jaida Parker have had more opportunities to succeed in the WWE and it has become a much more viable option for women’s wrestlers around the world. Thanks to their work, wrestling is a better place for women.
Jaida Parker recently spoke to Bully Ray on Busted Open Radio about the NXT Women’s Division. She claimed that they were “commanding everything” and gave credit to the women of the past who paved the way for her.
She then commented that she wants to face wrestlers like Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia and Zaria in the future.
“We are commanding everything because the women that were here before us went through hell and high waters for us to be where we are right now. So, we have no choice but to honor them, take the opportunity they had, and shoot for the stars with it.”
“We have to take advantage of that, or else they did all that for nothing. Me and Stephanie definitely have to run it back because Miss Vice decided to interrupt. If she didn’t, I would have been the Iron Survivor, definitely, and Stephanie would have been in the position I was tonight. Giulia, I’ve got my eye on you. Zaria, that’s a powerhouse—but so am I.”
