WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff appeared on WWE NXT, and the situation quickly broke down into chaos.
After appearing in a video on the November 26 episode of WWE NXT, Bischoff came to the ring on December 2. He highlighted his career in wrestling before noting that the revolution was happening in NXT. Bischoff hyped up the talented roster and called NXT Champion Trick Williams and Ridge Holland to the ring to discuss their match at NXT Deadline.
Bischoff praised both Holland and Williams. Holland and Williams then went back and forth, with Holland saying that Williams was an insult to the vision of what NXT should be and Williams saying that Ridge was bland and boring. Holland said that Williams was soft, and he would beat him for the the title.
Williams and Holland then brawled, and Holland slammed Trick onto the broadcast table. Williams was subsequently taken out on a stretcher.
The broadcast team then announced that Williams had been taken out in an ambulance and taken to the hospital. The status of his title match at NXT Deadline was said to be up in the air.
Update: Ava later announced that Holland’s match against Williams was still on for NXT Deadline.
