Report: WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Confirmed For January

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is returning on December 14, and another event has been confirmed for January.

The December show marks the first time WWE has held it since 2008. The return of Saturday Night’s Main Event is part of the deal that brought WWE SmackDow back to USA Network.

WrestleVotes previously reported that the next special would be on January 25, 2025. This will come just one week before WWE Royal Rumble on February 1.

Dave Meltzer confirmed the date on Wrestling Observer RadioHe noted that this date had been out there, but WWE confirmed it. Meltzer also noted that WWE got the dates for the events from NBC, and the company had to run with them. (H/t F4WOnline.com)

WWE continues to load up the card for the December 14 event. On the December 2 episode of WWE RAW, the company announced two title matches. Gunther will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest, and IYO SKY will challenge Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship.
