Drew McIntyre is back, as he made his return on the December 2 episode of WWE RAW.
Jey Uso was attacked backstage ahead of the main event, where Sami Zayn faced Seth Rollins. Zayn assumed that Rollins was the perpetrator due to his issues with The Bloodline. He went so far as to grab a chair and threaten Rollins with it during their match. Rollins told Zayn that he didn’t do it. Zayn was conflicted, and Rollins capitalized by rolling him up for the win.
Zayn stayed in the ring after the bell, and he was blindsided by a hooded man who revealed himself to be Drew McIntyre. McIntyre hit Zayn with a Claymore and stood tall as the show came to an end.
Drea McIntyre had been absent from WWE programming since WWE Bad Blood in October. There, he lost to CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match. McIntyre got busted open during the match, and the wound required staples.
