Liv Morgan will defend the gold at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
During the December 2 episode of WWE RAW, the broadcast team confirmed that Morgan would defend the title against IYO SKY at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.
SKY earned a title match by winning a battle royal on the November 4 episode of WWE RAW.
Morgan and SKY have crossed paths multiple times in recent weeks. SKY and her team beat Morgan and her team in a WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series. On the December 2 episode of WWE RAW, Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez beat SKY and Kairi Sane. Morgan and Rodriguez attacked SKY after the bell, but Rhea Ripley made the save.
SKY is a former WWE Women’s Champion and Women’s Tag Team Champion, among other accolades.
