Matthew Justice Interview

MLW’s Matthew Justice loves fighting Mads Krule Krugger

The Watch List looks at what matches you should be watching, and they are recommended by today’s professional wrestling stars.

WrestleZone spoke with Matthew Justice, who believes his casket match against Krule is one of the best matches of his career.

“Me and Krule had a casket match for Circle 6 in LA. It’s on their YouTube channel in full,” Justice explained. “It’s an amazing piece of work and it’s something I’m most proud of that I’ve done in my entire career. So, if people are going to watch something — and Krule’s in MLW too. This is a great promotion for MLW. It’s an awesome segment.”

Justice, the new MLW National Openweight Champion, compared the fiery battle to a clash between two movie titans.

“I lit him on fire man. He’s a real-life monster now,” Justice said. “He’s a crazy mother f*cker. And I love fighting him. He’s a perfect — it’s like [Escape From New York‘s] Snake Plissken fighting [Friday The 13th‘s] Jason Voorhees and it’s an awesome matchup.

Despite what Krule has thrown at him (or thrown him off of), he’s still standing.

“We had our Three Stages of Destruction match [for MLW] back in July. Last time we were at Cicero Stadium in May, he threw me off the balcony and here I am still standing,” Justice noted.
