NJPW star Gabe Kidd has called out two of WWE’s top stars, and he has even challenged Cody Rhodes to defend his title against him.
Kidd took to Twitter and tagged Cody Rhodes in a heated post in which he noted that he has beaten Rhodes in the past. He then challenged him to come to the Tokyo Dome and defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against him. Kidd wrote that they could change the game.
In another tweet, Gabe Kidd called out Randy Orton. He told Orton to speak to his boss and come fight him. Kidd wrote that Orton could never do what he do, and if he disagreed, he should come do something.
Kidd is the reigning NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion. He is set to face Kenny Omega at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty.
Gabe Kidd On Kenny Omega
Before the match was confirmed, Kidd discussed potentially facing Kenny Omega in an interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.
“The right thing for him to do is to realize, listen, I’ve had a great career, it’s been fun times, but it’s time for the next guy, and I will sacrifice my body. He should sacrifice himself in this match and just realize that he is not the Kenny Omega he once was.
“These people see him as a god, and I will treat him like a peasant, and they will see me as a god, and New Japan will take its top spot back as number one pro wrestling company in the world. That’s what I think he should do. I think he should be a f*cking professional, pull his thumb out his ass and stop crying. You got dealt with, you got warned, and now it’s time. So f*ck him. That’s it. I don’t know the future. If he’s not a bitch, we’ll see what happens.”
