CM Punk continues to stir the pot.
CM Punk agreed to team up with the OG Bloodline for the Men’s Wargames Match at WWE Survivor Series. On the November 29 episode of WWE SmackDown, Punk said that Paul Heyman would owe him a favor for doing so. Punk and the OG Bloodline then won the WarGames match, but it’s clear that Punk will come calling for his favor eventually.
At the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Post-Show, CM Punk was asked to share his thoughts on Roman Reigns‘ rise during his time away from WWE. He responded by simply saying, “No comment.”
During Punk’s time away from WWE, Reigns became the face of the company and had a remarkable reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. He helped lead the company to new heights in the early stages of the Triple H era.
CM Punk On Roman Reigns
In a recent interview with Peter Rosenberg at ComplexCon, Punk commented on the stars he wanted to face, and he teased a potentially buzzworthy moment with Roman Reigns.
“But then you talk about the money stuff, you talk about the marquee stuff. You talk about what is a match that you could see main eventing a pay-per-view. And that’s what gets my juices flowing. I think whenever myself and Roman Reigns are face to face on television, I think that’s going to be a moment. I think the table is set for myself and Cody. You never know when The Rock’s going to come back.
“And there’s big match John [Cena] coming right around the corner, another guy that I don’t want to talk about because he’s going to do his own thing, and if I’m a part of that, what a fortunate career I’ve had. But John deserves everything that he wants. He can call his own shot is basically what I’m saying. But yeah, I’d love to get hands on him, too.”
