Triple H: WWE Survivor Series Set An All-Time North American Arena Gate Record For WWE

Triple H says WWE Survivor Series was a successful show for WWE, at least from a financial standpoint.

At the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames post-show, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H shared his thoughts on the event. He noted that it set an all-time North American gate record for WWE. He stated that 17,828 fans were in attendance at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

“Coming off of the holidays, for a lot of our talent rolling in on this, lot of hard work, lot of effort, but when you come here and get the reaction and the reception that we did, it was phenomenal, especially from the fans here. Canada always delivers, Vancouver no different. As was just mentioned, been a long time since we’ve been here in Vancouver, something that we wanted to fix and come here with a big event. They certainly delivered tonight.

“We set an all-time North American arena gate record here tonight, it was sold-out, 17,828 in the building tonight. That is our sixty-third sellout for the year, so we’ve had quite a year, and it’s wonderful to be able to cap it off here in Vancouver.”

Triple H On WWE’s Current Success

During a recent appearance on Greg & The Morning Buzz, Triple H discussed WWE’s current success.

“You look at different generations and times, everything ebbs and flows over the course of thirty years. Nothing is going to stay consistent at the highest of levels. Even the NBA, baseball, football. They’ve all had their ups and downs.”

“But to see it again here now when you’re eclipsing all that old stuff. Setting records and breaking records. It’s awesome. I’m happy about it and I’m excited, but I’m excited for the talent because I know what its like to be in that sport. Just to where its packed arenas every night, sold out and everywhere you go people are recognizing you.”
