WWE SmackDown Viewership Decreases On 11/29, Demo Also Drops

WWE SmackDown saw a decrease in viewership on November 29.

According to Wrestlenomics (via Programming Insider), SmackDown averaged 1.341 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.40 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership number is down from last week’s episode when an average of 1.578 million viewers tuned in. The demo is also down from last week‘s episode (0.46 rating in the same demographic).

Per Wrestlenomics, Smackdown was #1 on cable in primetime in the 18 to 49 demographic. The show was up against the Clippers vs. Timberwolves NBA game on ESPN, as well as multiple college football games.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with a promo from both Women’s WarGames teams. The segment itself ended in a brawl.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was in action and defeated Carmelo Hayes in a non-title match.

Elsewhere on the show, Roman Reigns and CM Punk had a face-to-face exchange that was loosely moderated by Paul Heyman.

In the main event of the evening, Jacob Fatu defeated Jey Uso to earn the man advantage for the New Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames.
