Two of the NWA’s top female stars will make history inside a steel cage at ‘Looks That Kill.’
The National Wrestling Alliance announced that its next signature event will feature a women’s steel cage match between Tiffany Nieves and Natalia Markova. The match will mark the first time a women’s steel cage match took place in the state of Alabama.
“Tiffany and Natalia have reached a boiling point,” says NWA Chief Operating Officer Joe Galli. “The only way the National Wrestling Alliance knows to handle this feud is to turn to pro wrestling’s most trusted method of resolving conflicts.”
“On December 14, Natalia Markova and Tiffany Nieves will be locked inside a steel cage,” Galli added. “They can tear each other to pieces, but one way or another, there will be a winner!”
The pair have been feuding since NWA 76 this summer, where Markova won the Burke Invitational Gauntlet. Nieves ultimately cost Markova her title shot against Kenzie Paige, and they will work out their differences in the cage in Dothan, Alabama.

Natalia Markova on re-signing with NWA
Natalia Markova signed a new, multi-year contract with NWA earlier this year. She shared her mindset behind the decision during an interview with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. The Russian-born wrestler said she’s very happy in NWA and called it a perfect fit.
“It’s not even about what I was looking for, it was about what I already had. I’ve worked with NWA for over two years by the time I got signed. So, I already knew what I am getting into,” Markova explained. “I really had a good relationship with Billy Corgan. I think he’s a great boss, one of the best in the world. We have a really good understanding about the path and what to do with the company. And I think we have similar mindsets.
“So, that means a lot to me obviously. And I like the whole idea of NWA. I like the message they send, I like the style, and I think it fits me perfectly,” she added. “I was so happy, perfectly happy with the company. So, it was just… It was not a hard choice for me to make.”
