Deonna Purrazzo will make her CMLL debut in December.
CMLL officially announced that Purrazzo will face La Catalina at their December 13 event. She will face La Catalina at the show. By making her CMLL debut, Purrazzo will become the latest AEW star to compete in a CMLL ring in 2024.
La Catalina beat former AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm at the CMLL event on October 18.
Deonna Purrazzo On Her Run In AEW
Purrazzo recently discussed her run in AEW and stated that she was in a groove that would propel her forward, as she explained on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet.
“I feel like I’m just now feeling like myself again. Feeling like okay, this is The Virtuosa. I’ve been there nine and a half months now. That first stretch, it was like I don’t know what I’m doing or who I am. I’m working a brand new system with television and times, and I felt really thrown off. So I feel like now I’m finally getting in a groove that will propel me.”
