Roman Reigns has been feuding with Solo Sikoa since he returned at WWE SummerSlam, but his sights are still set on the world title.
Cody Rhodes dethroned Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WWE WrestleMania 40. Reigns has focused on The Bloodline since his return, but the goal remains the same.
Speaking on SI Media with Jimmy Traina, Roman Reigns made it clear that he wanted the title back.
“A lot of work to be done, lot of money to be made,” Roman Reigns said. “Hopefully just stay healthy, but yeah, there’s so many different things. At this point, getting the big title back is important. We’re in the middle of sorting out the Ula Fala, sorting out the family business. That’s far more personal, and at times, I wish we could have been able to handle this at the dinner table, breaking bread, the easier, older way, but we’ve done it this way. But at the day, we can’t take our eye off the ball.
“Cody’s the man right now, and nobody in my Bloodline likes that. Nobody wants that. I don’t know, Jey seems to be friends with everybody these days, but at the end of the day, we want the power. We want that stroke, we want the juice, we want to be prominent; we want to be positioned as the tipping top. So until you get the Universal Title back, it doesn’t matter.”
