Bret Hart To Appear On ‘American Dad’

Bret Hart has shared a sneak peek of his appearance on American Dad.

The wrestling legend took to social media to share a brief snippet of himself in the episode, which airs on November 25; the episode will premiere at 10 p.m. ET on TBS. In the clip, Hart appears wearing his iconic garb and wearing a championship, before driving a spike into the ground that causes a loud rumbling.

The episode, titled “Under (and Over, and Beside) the Boardwalk,” follows the story of the “grand reopening of the old Langley Falls boardwalk, and no one’s more pumped than the Smiths,” according to the episode’s official description.

Bret Hart previously appeared on The Simpsons in 1997. He played himself in the episode titled  “The Old Man and the Lisa”.

Bret Hart On ‘The Simpsons’

Hart recently discussed his appearance on The Simpsons in an interview with The Wrestling Classic.

“Oh, I was a big fan, so it was a big honor for me,” Hart said. “They originally, I remember I wanted to be Bret Hart on the show. And they said, ‘No, it’s just a part for a wrestler.’ I think my wrestler was called the Mad Viking or something like that. So when I did the voiceover, I was the voice for the Mad Viking. I wasn’t Bret Hart, and it’s a little bit different. That’s why when you hear the voiceover, it doesn’t sound like me. I was trying to sound like somebody else.
