Bobby Lashley says The Hurt Syndicate is taking over, and they want the gold.
Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has reunited with MVP and Shelton Benjamin. As The Hurt Syndicate, they have already established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. At AEW Full Gear, Lashley beat Swerve Strickland.
Speaking at the AEW Full Gear post-show media scrum, Lashley commented on his win.
“I think it was fantastic,” Bobby Lashley said. “The crowd here was amazing, and I liked the chant. ‘We hurt people.’ That’s good business. This group has been long overdue to start taking over, and now that we got to AEW, it is time to take over. We need to start holding these titles hostage. But it was nice.”
Lashley went on to say that he was excited about the opportunity to build something special with the Hurt Syndicate in AEW. He reiterated that he wanted to win titles.
“This is a great opportunity for us, coming over to AEW to build something special,” Bobby Lashley said. “We always wanted to run this, the Hurt Syndicate. Now that we have the opportunity to run the Syndicate, now we show you what we’re capable of doing. That’s what keeps me motivated, that and winning titles.”
