Tony Khan On Potential Bobby Lashley MMA Return: He Can Fight Anybody On The Planet, He’d Knock Them Out

One of the latest and biggest signings for AEW in 2024 is the All-Mighty Bobby Lashley. He made his first appearance at the Fright Night edition of AEW Dynamite. This past Saturday, the former WWE Superstar made his AEW pay-per-view debut in a match against Swerve Strickland at Full Gear. Lashley defeated Strickland to continue his undefeated streak in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Following the Full Gear pay-per-view, at the post-show Media Scrum, Bobby Lashley was asked about his potential return to compete in MMA. To which, AEW President Tony Khan replied by stating that if the former WWE Superstar is up for it, then he will be able to compete in MMA. Khan also seemed to be very confident that Lashley can knock out any fighter on planet Earth.

“If he ever wants to do any fight, this guy can fight anybody on the planet. He would knock them out,” Tony Khan said.

Bobby Lashley is confident he will be in a Title match at AEW All In 2025

One of the biggest pay-per-views for AEW is the All In PPV. Recently, the All-Mighty Bobby Lashley shared his goals for the annual PPV. Lashley is confident that he will be either defending or challenging for a championship at AEW All In.

“I want be either defending the title or fighting for the title [at All In],” Lashley told The Lame Guys Wrestling Podcast. “A couple different things, I’ve won the title when I had ECW title, WWE title, TNA title. AEW title, I want to get it because I think I can based on just history, background, who I am and what I do. I could have that title and it would be justified. But I think, even more importantly, it’s something for other guys to work towards. I’m not an easy person to get to. Then when you get to it, you don’t necessarily want to be there.

“It’s like I want to get that title match, but then I win, win, win. Now I have that title match and it’s like ‘Oh s***, I gotta fight him?’ So once I do that I think it would be good for a lot of people at AEW to have that kind of immovable object to try to get over. I could be that for a lot of people over there.”
