Report: Some WWE Talent Frustrated With Comp Ticket Policy

Some WWE talent are reportedly frustrated with a new policy about comp tickets.

Business is booming for WWE, and the company continues to sell out shows. However, this success has led to at least some frustration.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that with ticket pricing reaching an all-time high, internal comp tickets have been increasingly limited. Sources said that the limit hit a new high in recent weeks.

Per Sapp, numerous talent have expressed their frustration because comp tickets are unavailable. Instead, they are being given a pre-sale link that their families and friends can use. It’s not clear whether this is a universal rule. However, several talent have noted that they are affected.

Sapp cites one WWE higher-up who said that it was a result of the company’s success. This source said that the company had been using less “seat fillers” recently. The report also cites a talent who expressed their frustration with the change to the comp policy. These sources noted that there was no written information about it. Per Sapp, another talent said they had comp tickets approved months in advance but were asked to pay for the tickets the week of the show.
