WWE SmackDown Viewership Increases On 11/22, Show Ranks #1 In Primetime

WWE SmackDown saw an increase in viewership on November 22.

According to Wrestlenomics (via Programming Insider), SmackDown averaged 1.578 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.46 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership number is up from last week’s episode when an average of 1.234 million viewers tuned in. The demo is also up from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.32 rating in the same demographic.

Per Wrestlenomics, SmackDown ranked #1 on cable in the 18 to 49 demographic in primetime. The show was up against the NBA game between the Warriors and the Pelicans and the college football game between Michigan State and Purdue.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with a promo from the New Bloodline with Solo Sikoa demanding the OG Bloodline’s surrender by the end of the show.

Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens had a back-and-forth promo, the two will face off for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Elsewhere on the show, LA Knight defeated Santos Escobar to retain the United States Championship.

In the closing segment of the evening, the New Bloodline demanded the OG Bloodline’s surrender prior to WarGames next week. But Paul Heyman returns and brings out CM Punk as the fifth member of the OG Bloodline team.
