Stephanie McMahon Congratulates Linda McMahon On Trump Cabinet Nomination

Stephanie McMahon congratulated her mother Linda McMahon on her recent nomination for Secretary of Education.

Linda McMahon has been nominated as the Secretary Of Education in government by President-elect Donald Trump. This was following his shock win over Kamala Harris this month to earn his second stint in the White House.

She previously served as the CEO of WWE from 1980 until her resignation in 2009. During this time she appeared alongside Stephanie McMahon numerous times on television.

Linda McMahon ran for senate twice, failing to be elected both times. She was made the Administrator of the Small Business Administration during Donald Trump‘s first stint as president in 2016.

Stephanie McMahon wrote on Twitter to congratulate her mother on her recent nomination. She congratulated her for the nomination as Secretary of Education, saying that her grandchildren will know her as a two-time cabinet member.

She went on to say she was proud of her mother and remarked on the legacy she has left for her family. Given Vince McMahon’s legacy has been somewhat tarnished in recent years, some good news for the McMahon’s is something they’ll happily cling to.

Congratulations @Linda_McMahon on being nominated for United States Secretary of Education. Your grandchildren will know you as a two-time cabinet member! What a legacy for us all! I am so proud of you Mom!

Stephanie McMahon Reflects On Things She’s Done In WWE, Says ‘It Was A Little Bit Weird’ Sometimes

Stephanie McMahon realizes that some of the things Vince McMahon asked her to do were a bit weird.

She spoke about the infamous drive-through marriage angle on the Mr McMahon Netflix documentary (H/T to Fightful for the transcription).

She said that it was “a little bit weird”, some of the things that her father had her do in the ring. However, she hand-waved it as a “different time in our business”, and doesn’t seem too bothered by it.

“When I was younger in my career, I was all on board to do whatever he wanted. I look back on some of the stuff I did and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe I did that.’ Yeah, for sure.”

“Yeah, sometimes, I thought it was a little bit weird, but it was a different time in our business.”
