Bobby Lashley Makes AEW In-Ring Debut On AEW Dynamite

Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley wrestled in an AEW ring for the first time on the November 20 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Lashley competed in a two-on-one handicap match on Wednesday, as he faced Cheeseburger and Joe Keyes. The bout marked Lashley’s first time competing since the WWE live event on May 5. He had been sidelined with an injury at the end of his time with WWE. Lashley then left the company and signed with AEW; he made his AEW debut at AEW Fright Night Dynamite.

On Wednesday night, Lashley overpowered his opponents as soon as the bell rang. He dominated the duo, and he squashed an attempted rally by Keys. Lashley dropped Keys with a Spear and scored the win with the Hurt Lock.

After the bell, Swerve Strickland blindsided Lashley after the match and attacked him with a chain. He then hit Lashley with the House Call and the Swerve Stomp.

Lashley will face Strickland at AEW Full Gear on November 23. This will be his AEW pay-per-view debut.
