Ricky Starks is set to make his House of Glory debut.
House of Glory Wrestling announced that Ricky Starks will make his debut at their January 17 event. His opponent was not named in the announcement.
Starks, a former AEW World Tag Team Champion, has been absent from AEW programming since the March 30 episode of AEW Collision. He has since stated that he was not injured, and Tony Khan confirmed that he was still under contract with AEW. There is currently no word on when he will return to AEW programming.
Ricky Starks On In-Ring Return
Starks recently appeared at the Glory Pro Wrestling event on October 27, which set up a match at their November 24 event. Speaking with Joe Roderick for Claibs Online, Ricky Starks confirmed that he was still under contract with AEW. He also discussed his appearance at Glory Pro Wrestling.
“Well you know, I can’t be stuck at home for too much longer,” Starks said. “Obviously I go stir crazy. I saw an opportunity with Kody Lane to come out and challenge for the title. I thought it was even a better idea because I used to live in St. Louis, so I thought it was a good way to make a return. Also, he known Kody for quite a bit, so I said why not? Why not just come back and test the grit against somebody that I’m very much familiar with.”
