Giulia wants to face some of the top wrestlers in WWE today.
She debuted in WWE on NXT in September this year after enjoying great success in Japan. Giulia has already had a great match with Roxanne Perez and looks to be one of the top female performers in the entire company.
In one of her first interviews in English, the Japanese-Italian Giulia spoke with Bully Ray on Busted Open Radio. She spoke about how difficult she has found wrestling in NXT since moving to the US, due to the differences between Japanese and American wrestling.
“It’s very difficult to me. So hard. But I like, because I am more improved about wrestling. In Japan, very different, the style.” Julia said. Bully Ray then asked her the difference between the Japanese and American style, to which she replied that it was totally different.
“All. All different. All different. Here, very important, the TV program, TV show. There [Japan] we don’t have TV programs. Also, the audience is different.”
Bully Ray then asked Giulia which WWE Superstars she is looking forward to wrestling now she’s in the company. She said she wants to wrestle all the Japanese wrestlers, like IYO SKY and Kairi Sane, as well as former Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. She also clarified that she loves Rhea Ripley, which is why Giulia wants to face her.
“I want to wrestle the Japanese girls and Rhea Ripley. I love Rhea Ripley.”
Giulia Is New Four Horsewoman, Says Roxanne Perez
Giulia is one of the new Four Horsewomen in NXT, according to NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.
Roxanne Perez recently appeared on In The Kliq, where she was asked who she would name as the new generation of the Four Horsewomen. The NXT Women’s Champion named herself and three other top talents in NXT to take over the mantle.
She named Cora Jade, Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia as the women to join her. Roxanne Perez also claimed NXT had “the greatest women’s division in the world”.
“I actually saw a post about this the other day, and I agreed with it very much. It would be me, Cora Jade, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia. I think, you know, I feel like we’re a little alike in different ways. In the same way, being that we have always wanted to be a part of WWE since we were young. We’ve put in those years. Those 10,000 hours to become great. Now we’re able to be a part of the greatest women’s division in the world. I think that has a lot to do with us four women.”
