Masha Slamovich reflects on winning the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
Slamovich has spent years grinding on the independent scene, and she has reached new heights since joining TNA. Slamovich is a three-time TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion. She defeated Jordynne Grace to win the title at TNA Bound For Glory. In doing so, she captured the gold for the first time.
In an interview with Steven Muelhausen for The Takedown on SI, Masha Slamovich commented on winning the title.
“It didn’t seem real until the ring announcer said I won the match and the referee had the belt in his hand,” Slamovich said.
Slamovich also expressed her interest in facing Meiko Satomura, who is set to retire in April 2025.
“I want Meiko Satomura sometime in 2025,” Slamovich said. “Somehow, some way, the gods have to make it happen.”
With NXT and TNA working together, a match between Masha Slamovich and Meiko Satomura could be a possibility. Time will tell whether it becomes a reality.
